mixed feelings about my stay
the location was connected to a shopping center, convenient.
The room i booked was sold as 42 m², but it felt much smaller, more like two-thirds of that size. Quite disappointing.

amazing breakfast helpful staff
I found the breakfast selection amazing with many options. the staff was very helpful. They could not do enough for me. the hotel linked directly to one galle shopping center. It made shopping very easy.
i found a very slight delay in transport bookings at the horizon club.

charmed by the shangri-la experience
welcome party detailed team cocktail menu fine rooftop
the tiki bar hosted our pre-wedding welcome party. the team helped us tailor every detail. we had a customized cocktail menu plus a mongolian rice live station. the location boasts fine rooftop views at sunset.
the selection of fresh juices was limited. my ordered orange juice never arrived. i received a coffee from a machine more suited to a three-star hotel, not a proper espresso.

the hotel convinces near one galle face. being connected came in clutch so many times for last-minute shopping. it provided great access to nearby attractions.

the staff were friendly and very attentive. they made sure all my needs were looked after. i received excellent service at the pool side from anjula, he was a great asset.

the hotel had a clean room with everything i possibly needed. the gym had amazing views with great equipment. i didn't use the pool but it looks very comfortable, it was nice.

superb location lounge access flexible refreshment
the hotel had a superb location with views of the port. i upgraded to a room with lounge access after arriving early. this provided flexibility with refreshments throughout the day, i found that convenient.
the front desk staff seemed unfriendly, it was noticeable.
